of our 100% Arabica coffee is guaranteed for freshness
and premium quality. If you are not completely satisfied
with your order, just phone or email our customer service
department for return and refund instructions.
Q: Can
I purchase Midwest Coffee Traders Coffee in smaller-sized
packages?
A: Currently,
our premium specialty coffees are sold in bulk through
our retail coffee shops in the Des Moines, Iowa, area.
Our plans for expansion include sale of our coffee in
independent retail groceries and specialty food stores
as well.
Q: How
should I store my Midwest Coffee Traders Coffee?
A: Our
bulk whole-bean coffee is delivered to our customers
in gas-vented valve bags to allow gases to escape, but
keep air and other odors from penetrating the bag. If
you grind your coffee beans as you brew, and reseal the
top of your bag so that it is tightly closed, you will
be able to retain maximum freshness for 4-6 weeks. Whole-bean
or ground coffee should NEVER be stored in a refrigerator
or freezer, due to the possibility of cross-contamination
from other foods, which will adversely affect the flavor
of our coffee.
Q: What
is normal delivery time after placing my order?
A: Because
we are a small-scale batch roaster, we are normally able
to respond and fresh roast your individual order within
2-4 days of order receipt. Normal UPS Ground delivery
once we have shipped your order is 2-5 days from our
Roastery in Des Moines, Iowa.
